Voting Tomorrow Part 2

Further to my earlier post today about voting tomorrow I thought that I would clear something up regarding the amount of people who do not vote.

I know lots of people who vote, in fact I will go so far as to say that I am the only one out of all my friends and family who takes advantage of their right to vote. My dad is the only person to vote this time as he got sick of me moaning on about it.

The main argument that I hear is โ€œWhat is the point? My vote will not make any difference.โ€ Well you are wrong, every vote can make a difference as my example below will show you.

Four years ago George Galloway decided to target Oona Kingโ€™ seat to get back at Tony Blair, only 60% of the people in the borough who could vote actually bothered to vote and he was voted in my a majority of only 900 votes.

Can you imagine what would have happened if the other 40% had been bothered to vote? They could have made a hell of a difference to the outcome.

Tomorrow use your right to vote, it takes about five minutes and can change the city of London for the better. ๐Ÿ™‚

Otherwise I might have to nag and nag until you change your mind and vote, it worked on my dad, it worked on my mate Reiss and it will certainly work on you! ๐Ÿ˜›
