Monday
Rest day today to recover from yesterday’s 10k race.
Tuesday
I felt so ill today that I could barely get out of bed.
Wednesday
Feeling a little better, but still took the day off work and running.
Thursday
I felt well enough to go to work today and managed my only run of the week. A four-mile run home from work at an easy pace.
Friday
Rest day today.
Saturday
Felt awful today so decided to take today and tomorrow off and resume training on Monday.
Sunday
No run today.
Summary
This week has been a complete write-off due to being ill. It’s frustrating, but it is something that is out of my control and I’m trying not to beat myself up too much when this happens.
