Training Round-Up Week #1

Monday

No run today as my training plan gave me the first day off.

Tuesday

Four miles in the pouring rain home from work at an easy pace.

Wednesday

Four miles home from work at an easy pace. First run in the Reebok Floatride Energy 4. They felt VERY loose around the ankles, I may have to try different laces.

Thursday

Four miles home from work at an easy pace. Groin started grumbling so I’m taking Friday and Saturday off.

Friday

Enforced rest day.

Saturday

Enforced rest day.

Sunday

Runthrough Vicky Park 10k as a 10k time trial. I was aiming for a sub45 time and comfortably achieved that. No warm-up as it took me over an HOUR to pick up my bib number.

Summary

Considering I had to take two days off to rest my grumbling groin I will say I am rather pleased with 19.1 miles in total.
