Tactical Boots And Shoes For Putting Your Feet Through Their Paces

Regular readers of this blog will no doubt know all too well about my passion for long distance running, but what many of you may not be aware of is my passion for walking and hiking.

When I am not running around the United Kingdom, I love nothing more than to walk around this glorious country and take in its breathtakingly beautiful scenery.

As with most things though you have to have the right footwear.

I recently secured a permanent job as an estate operative and this involves me walking between 30,000-50,000 steps every day. This does not include running or travelling to the job. So I’m obviously going to need to pick up a decent pair of tactical footwear that will be able to stand up to the rigours of all this walking I’ll be doing.

Just like with running and hiking, I can’t just go into my local discount store and pick up a $10 pair of shoes and expect them to last any length of time or offer protection to my feet. I need to seek out some quality tactical boots.

This is where companies like Tactical Distributors come into play.

They sell some of the best tactical footwear on the market today. Whether you are looking for a pair of stylish Salomon Speedcross 4 Clouds (a shoe that I regularly run trials in) or something a little bit more resilient like the Salomon Forces 2 Quest 4D GTX, you will find them all on their website. They even cater for people with wide feet with their range of wide tactical boots.

Have you tried Salomon boots before?
