Going away on holiday is something that a lot of us look forward to. Whether it is a short weekend trip to the other end of the country that you live in or travelling abroad to an exotic beach for a fortnight.
A couple of years ago I wanted to go on a romantic vacation riviera maya with my then girlfriend. Riviera Maya (it is in Mexico, if you didn’t know) is a lovely place, white sandy beaches with clear unpolluted seas and the best bit was that it was not full of British families running amok and making a nuisance.
That can ruin a vacation for me. I want to get away from noisy kids and loud thuggish families, the last thing I want to do is spend a huge amount of money to spend a week or two with them in a hot foreign country!
It is one of those undiscovered holiday destinations where you can easily spend a couple of hours without meeting another soul. A great place to go to if you want to relax and be on your own or with a special someone.
Maybe the reason it is not a popular tourist resort is because it does cost quite a pretty penny to holiday there. Well worth paying more for to get away from the typical British holiday-maker though.
