It is funny how things can change so dramatically within the space of twenty four hours, yesterday I was on top of the world with my workout going well, being uber productive thanks to my work schedule and being asked to play football again, but only twenty four hours later I have gone in completely the opposite direction.

I made a mistake of posting on Facebook about how happy I was to be playing football again and I received LOADS of replies and messages from friends and family taking the absolute piss out of me. Normally I can shake it off, but for some reason it dug in and refused to be shaken.

Within a few hours of posting on Facebook my confidence had been completely torn apart and I ended up texting Wayne and telling him to find someone else to go in goal on Sunday and I went to bed for a large part of the day.

Before this hit I did manage to do my workout, which is a big plus, today it was “chest and triceps” day and against my better judgement I did another 30 minutes of intense biking and made the pain a little bit worse, I might have to give it a bit of a break for the rest of the week.
