Looking Into Buying A New Bike

Days Without Alcohol: 18

I’ve been toying with the idea of getting myself a bike. I used to have one a long time ago but some lovely people on my estate stripped it after I stupidly left it outside my front door over night.

It was my pride and joy, my mum bought it for me for my 18th birthday and I LOVED IT. I bought almost every bit of tat for the bike that you could think of from a radio right down to special grips that probably were not that special.

I’m not sure if it will benefit me much health wise as I walk almost everywhere that can be walked anyway, and I would be too worried to ride on the roads around Central London.

The prices seem to be coming down now not just on the bikes themselves but also on certain performance parts that you can buy for them (extra padded seat anyone?).

Knowing me I’d pimp the bike up and then only use it to ride to the local shop.
