I was recently invited to a wedding of someone I knew. In the end I decided not to go as I was not in the right frame of mind to mingle with happy people, and I look a complete and utter muppet in a suit and tie.
One of the most important parts of the wedding (apart from the free alcohol and food) is to hire a decent photographer who will be able to help you capture your big day on film for the rest of your life.
Hire a terrible one and your big day is already ruined before the alcoholic uncle has had time to get drunk and grope the bridesmaid (just my family, eh?).
Obviously the best place to find a decent photographer is by asking friends and family if they would recommend the guy who did their photos at their wedding, word of mouth is an incredibly important promotion.
If you live in Nottingham then you might have the name of Bartosz Kali suggested to you. He is a Nottingham Wedding Photographer who runs a web site over at weddingphotographernottingham.me.uk.
It is not the most flashy of web site but to be honest it doesn’t need to be. It has pretty much everything a client would need to know when looking into hiring his services.
You have the price page which is probably the first thing people want to find out about before anything else. Prices start from £300 which I’m told is very cheap (obviously being single I don’t know about this).
Obviously no self-respecting photographer should have a web site without a page devoted to his portfolio, he has a nice flashy sideshow displaying some very well taken pictures. If the slide show annoys you there is an option to turn it off and see a list of pictures instead.
The other good thing that I noticed about this web site is that it is listed very highly in Google for the keyword “wedding photographer in Nottingham”. This is incredibly important as he will obtain a lot of potential clients through search engines like Google
The one thing I would suggest including on the web site would be quotes from the happy customers that have used his services in the past, this would help sway the potential clients into hiring him.
If you are on the lookout for someone to produce wedding photography in Nottingham, or a surrounding area, then you could do a hell of a lot worse than hiring Bartosz Kali.
