In exactly one hundred days I shall be going on my first proper holiday! OK it is only to a place in East Sussex called Hastings, and OK it is only for a weekend, but fuck it I’m going on holiday!

There will be a beer & music festival in Hasting, it is a three day event (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) but I’m not going to the Thursday one I’m going to go up there Friday morning and spend the weekend there, coming home Sunday evening.

I was looking at the ticket prices and it is weird. A return ticket from London Victoria to St Leonards Warrior Square will cost £26.10 but a single will cost £22.70. I was hoping to make the return journey from Seaford rather than St Leonards Warrior Square but that will set me back an extra £20.00 more if I go by first class, as I am thinking of doing.

Sunday I want to go to Seaford to have a look around and taste some of the fine ales that are boldly promised in the many pubs in the town centre and this is why I wanted to come home to London straight from there but it looks like I might just do this:

St Leonards Warrior Square to Seaford
Seaford to St Leonards Warrior Square
St Leonards Warrior Square to London Victoria

It will add an hour to my travelling time on Sunday but it will also save me about £30.00 which I can spend on beer. 🙂

I am also looking to get a laptop, I’m not sure yet if I will buy one or persuade (IE beat him up) my brother to lend me his so I can do some work on the way up and keep in touch with the internet world whilst I’m in my hotel room. I must also remember to nick his camera as well.
