Well, after only 30 minutes of having to be kept on hold (listening to that bloody irritating woman every 30 seconds or so!) I managed to get through to someone at PlusNet and was able to pay my bill via my debit card.
I think I may pay the bill the same way from now on but the thought of being kept on hold for that amount of time really is not something I am looking forward to.
PlusNet’s motto is “UK’s Leading Internet Service Provider” yet they can not afford to hire any more staff to man the telephones and website help pages. If you can waste money sponsoring a crap Championship football club then you can employ more staff!
