Fuck Them, I Don’t Need This Shit

I was up at 6am yesterday as I got really excited about the football game later in the day. I got to the ground at 12:30 and by 1:30 we were ready to take on the mighty Chingford Athletic in our first official friendly.

Then the problem started.

I’ve been playing competitive football since I was 11, that is 20 years of experience in playing school football, Sunday league football, Saturday league football, non-league football, semi-pro football and I even entered several tournaments in Germany, France & Spain.

Since I play at the back with three other players who have never played a competitive game between them Wayne decided to ask me to call the defensive line. This would have been fine and I was more than up for it and for the first 30 minutes I yelled and encouraged the other 3 defenders as they completely ignored me.

This pissed me off no end, it pissed me off even more when Reiss and Scott started telling me what I should be doing. Reiss went off and was replaced by Bradley, it made no difference as Bradley ignored me as well.

40th minute I finally lost my patience, walked off the pitch, threw my training bib at Reiss, got dressed and fucked off to the local pub as the team went on to lose 12-0 without me.

Reiss, Michael and a black guy came over and told me that I was being childish. I think walking off was the better option then what I really wanted to do which was throw punches.

I asked the manager five times in the first half to do something about the three defenders ignoring me yet he just stood there.

Wayne told me that he asked Scott to call the line in the second half and they all listened to him. So it is pretty clear that this was a punch in the face from them to me, they were not prepared to listen to me but would happily listen to a 16 year old pikey whose only experience at football is playing Football Manager.

I only returned to the club because Wayne was desperate for an experienced defender. Well they can all fuck off now.

I spent the afternoon in a couple of pubs while they carried on without me and went down 12-0.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
