I was saddened to hear the news that ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper had passed away. I don’t know what is going on this year, but we have seen way too many wrestlers passing away before their time with Dusty Rhodes, Buddy Landel, Tim Arson and Perro Aguayo, Jr (among a few) also being added to the list.

Not being able to go for a run today meant that I spent another day walking around the house feeling very lost. By about 5pm I had already laid out and prepared my kits for football training Saturday, the football friendly Sunday and the race on Sunday morning.

I can’t help but think that I am going to regret this weekend. Not only have I agreed to attend training with Custom House on Saturday, but I have also got a 10k race to do Sunday morning and then I will have to rush across London to Harrow to play in a friendly in the afternoon for Bow Badgers.

It’s a good job I’m not planning on drinking tonight or tomorrow or I think I might actually die this weekend!
