I have just found out that George Carlin has passed away a couple of days ago. I am not sure what is sadder to be honest, not knowing he had died or the fact that his passing away did not raise any media publicity. I only found out because I saw someone on MSN with “R.I.P George Carlin” in their name.

I very much enjoyed George’s comedy stylings, the way he treated religious and political people with utter contempt really appealed to me. If you get the opportunity download some of his recordings from LimeWire, I’m sure you will like him too.
