Well it is that time of the month again as at the first day of the month hundreds of blogs around the internet provide very public details of how much money they have earned during the past calendar month.
I started this as a little side project in November to determine if it was at all possible to earn proper money on the internet as many other people have claimed to have done before me.
January is the most important month for bloggers earning an income as it normally sets the tone for the rest of the year.
I can happily say that January has been my best month so far. Please note that I have only been doing this for three months now so my amounts may seem lower than others who have been doing it for years.
Dropping Poor Avenues
After using Bidvertiser for three months solid now I have decided that the results are very poor and I will not be using them again on this blog. Some may like them but they did not produce one relevant advert to my blog in the three months I used them.
I no longer use Clicksor on this blog as they decided that pulling in over triple their required monthly impression requirement (5,000, this month we went over the 16,000 mark) still meant that I did not meet their requirements with the monthly minimum requirement of 5,000 … work that one out.
Number Crunching
So just exactly how much did I bring in this month on Dean Saliba Dot Com? Afterall this is the real reason that you have all started reading this post. Well I am pleased to announce that I beat December’s amount of $71.35 and this month’s earning stands at a nice $292.31.

Page impressions also saw a nice increase to 16,920, this is an increase of 5,599 from last month.
Unique Hits:
Dean Saliba Dot Com also saw a rise in unique visitors this month at 10,418, this is an increase of 3,454 from last month.

Well it is the first day of a new month (and a new year!) and that can mean only one thing when it comes to blogs designed to make money on the internet … it is time to announce how much money I earned last month.
Apparently December is a poor month to earn money online if you are not selling anything and just writing a blog, this is because people are out buying presents and partying. I have found that the month of December has actually been good to me as I have smashed the total of $4.67 that I pulled in during the month of November.
Seeing that Dean Saliba Dot Com has only been online for two months I am very happy with the amount that the blog is earning and the amount of traffic that I am recieving, this is without any form of advertising remember.

I started a project, a study if you will, to determine if it was really possible to earn an income from the internet by simply doing something that is A) legal and B) does not require a lot of financial investment.
People such as John Chow, Shoemoney, etc, today earn a nice income on the internet but they did not do it from scratch, they already had a HUGE following when they decided to start. I am doing this with no fanbase at all.
So what is this blog going to be about?
Well I love writing about professional wrestling so there will be a lot of wrestling-related ramblings on the blog but there will also be posts about how to earn an income on the internet, these will be avenues that I will personally use and then write about my experiences with them.
Every month I shall freely document the stats for the previous month this will be not only income amounts but also impression stats.

On first view the monthly total does not look very good but when you consider the following:
* That was my first month.
* I had to start from scratch.
* I did almost no promoting or advertising.
I still managed to make a profit of $4.67 as I spent no money on advertising. The monthly page views stands at 612. I shall be installing a more detailed counter stat script sometime today.
