Days Without Alcohol: 49

This morning I received a nice surprise in the mail. I received a letter from Informa that I knew would contain my P45 but when I opened it I also saw that there was a payslip inside that said they have paid me £23.36 that they owed me.

I am pretty sure that this is a mistake on their part, but, like anybody else in my position, I will keep it. That will teach the mutl-billion pound company for being a bunch of complete and uttter twats.

It was a nice start to the day and the day seems to be getting better as I checked my email inbox and received an email informing me that an advertiser would like to pay me $40.00 to write a review for them.

I also found out that an advertiser that I have been chasing since February 20th 2008 has finally agreed to pay me the $20.00 he owes me! Apparently this advertiser had about 50 people waiting to be paid for reviews they had done going back even further than mine!

I had to pop over to see my sister katrina today to give her some money that she is borrowing form my dad. As I was on my way back I saw a couple in their garden putting up patio furniture IN FEBRUARY!

I was remarking to myself how absurd it was buying summer garden furniture in this weather but then I started wondering that maybe they had bought it at a very good deal to use in the summer. It did not seem such a silly notion when I had considered this.
