I Finally Met The Thesta!

I arranged to meet up with Thes yesterday. We have been talking about meeting up for ages but something always came up. Sadly I could not think of an excuse so was backed into a corner to meet with the groping & poking Greek woman from Finchley. :)

I arrived about an hour early (I don’t like walking into pubs and looking for people, much prefer being there already) and almost instantly I offended the barman when he bent over and I got a rather unpleasant view of his arse as his trousers and underwear were round his knees. Apparently saying “Oh dear” and looking away in slight disgust is considered offensive.

We were joined by Will who made his entrance in a very cool pair of shades. He only stayed for about an hour we went over to another place where he was going to meet Jen. I made the mistake of waving at her and she glared at me like I’d slapped some sort of meat product on her plate.

After Will & Jen left I tagged along with Thes to a meet-up she as going to in Hackney with some of her gaming friends. The dozy cow got us hopelessly lost as we trudged around various parts of Hackney looking for a pub called The Pembury.

We eventually found the pub and we were barely seated for a minute when I had a map thrust into my face by some Danish bloke who was really pleased with his hand-drawn map of the area and wanted to show me how he got lost as well.

Despite the awesome reviews that people have given this pub I found the beer to be flat and rather stale, I ended up abandoning it.

I waited for Thes to get on a bus and then went to get myself a big bag of chips and got my own bus home. As I was walking into my estate I got a text message from her gloating about how quickly she had got home. Next time I shall put her on the wrong bus, that will teach her! :)

I thought it was a rather enjoyable night.

Do You Remember The Internet In 1997?

Somebody posted this on their blog this morning and I thought that it was very funny so in true fashion of the internet I have stolen it and posted it on my blog for my readers and visitors to watch.

You might want to forward to 1:20 mark for the best bit.

I Think I’m Getting A PS3

I have enjoyed playing with computers since the day my dad bought me an Amstrad CPC 464 when I was about 8. Since then I have owned a lot of consoles and computers and if I have not owned one then I have friends and family who dis so I still got to play them.

I have not had a games console since I got rid of my old PS2 a good few years ago. And after playing on the much hyped Playstation 3 that my brother owns I am starting to get the itch to buy myself one.

Obviously buying one is easy these days as you no longer have to walk around various electrical shops in your town to try and find a cheap deal. One quick search on Google or a comparision web site will help you find the cheapest Playstation 3 available in your country.

And just when I thought I had found a good deal I stumble across a web site called ps3.uk who have a host of coupons for PS3 consoles, games and even PS3 bundles that can save me even more money.

If I do get one then I’d buy the latest FIFA football game and finally beat my brother at the game after years of him wiping the floor with me at it!

Wedding Bells Are Ringing This Year

I just found out tonight that Jayson is getting married. I’m very pleased for him and if he has a stag night, or a little get together for the boys, then I’d happily make the journey down to Eastbourne to celebrate with him, tie him to a post and paint his genitals bright green. Isn’t that what friends do? :)

It seems everyone is getting married or is settling down these days. My two sisters have long term partners, Alfie is getting married in June, Baran is engaged, Jayson is getting married, Jen is married, Nicky is engaged. Thank god I am friends with people like Reiss and Adrian (who could not hold onto a relationship if it was glued into their hands) otherwise I might start thinking that I’m weird with my whole ‘relationships are evil’ philosophy.

I am starting to get annoyed with Facebook lately. I’m not sure if it is just me but I seem to have a growing list of friends who get really upset and clingy if I do not speak to them every couple of seconds.

I’m not as quick on the keyboard as most people so it might take me a little bit longer to reply than other people. If I don’t reply within five seconds then they think I’m being rude and ignoring them.

I have a feeling that I will probably stop using it after a while just like I did with MySpace & Bebo.

I noticed how old and worn out the taps in my bathroom are looking these days. Maybe it is because we have a new shower that makes the taps on the sink look old but seeing as we are redecorating I think I’ll ask my sister to buy some new bathroom faucets.
