My Dog Chewed My Glasses!

The pair of eyeglasses that I bought before I started work sadly already need replacing thanks to my dog getting her hands (or should that be paws?) on them and chewing one of the ear pieces at the end.
The chewed piece is not really that noticable unless you are sittign riht next to me and stare at me but I know it is there and it makes me concious about using them in the office.
Now that I work I’m not entitled to free glasses anymore so when I get paid I’ll have to nip to my local opticions and see if I can get a cheap replacement repair. But then again there are some fine online stores selling cheap frames, nothing wrong with the lenses I have.

Go to somewhere like TK Maxx. You can buy frames there (and quite nice ones) quite cheaply then just have to pay for the lenses.
Thes: I did not know TK Maxx did glasses. I’ve never been into one but I thought it was mainly a clothing shop.
There is bound to be one on Oxford St, I shall check it out.
2ThePoint: I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 5, I would hate to count up how many pairs I’ve had over the years, I used to break them about once every two weeks!
I am probably the only person in the world to break a pair of unbreakable rubber glasses. I’m quite proud of that though!
Ooh, if it’s any consolation, I rolled over onto mine while I slept this morning. Bent the right arm out of shape. I was like ‘f*ck, I don’t need this – especially now my ass is broke as hell’.
Managed to fix it though. Still a bit bent but it’ll have to do for now.
