Zenni Optical was on FOX news! recently did anyone watch it? They are a company that sell cheap glasses online and to be honest they sell them far cheaper than any of the opticians I have ever been to.

I went to the optician today to get a new pair of glasses and due to my poor eyes I have to have the lenses specially made because otherwise I woul have used the prescription and bought a pair of Incredible Stylish New Frames From Zenni instead.

In fact their glasses are so cheap their Zenni Optical $ 8 Rx Eyeglasses are the cheapest I’ve ever seen!

Last Night Out For A Couple Of Weeks

July 13, 2008 by Dean Saliba
Filed under Dean Saliba Dot Com

As I had been a good boy and not hit the booze that hard over the past couple of weeks, and I booked my room and train tickets for my holiday, I thought that I’d go out for a drink or two with Reiss before he flies off for his holiday in Portugal.

It is Swedish Michael’s birthday on Monday but they were having a party last night so I bought some beer and tagged along with Reiss. For the first time ever Reiss came dressed in normal attire and he got a lot of nice remarks about it.

I wore my “I have a huge penis – but I haven’t got it with me” t-shirt.

It was a cool evening just people hanging around drinking and talking about junk. We played a game where we tie a balloon to our ankle and everyone has to try and stamp on each other’s balloons but defend their own at the same time, mine came off after about a second and floated happily across the room, like it was making a last gasp dash for freedom, one of the guys looked at me and I gave him the nod and he leaped up and snuffed out my balloon like a murderer.

After a couple of hours we headed to a pub and ended up on the top floor which was a big dance floor and it was packed with people dancing away. Michael told me that one of his friends wanted to take me home (if you know what I mean) but she did not want to because I did not have my penis with me, I told him it was right in my pocket and she went as white as a sheet!

I wanted to go to the toilet so I started snaking my way through the crowded room, I was stopped by two girls who wanted to read my t-shirt and were giggling and asking me where I had left it. It was all good fun but suddenly some guy, who was with the girls, lunged at me and started trying to rip the t-shirt from my body.

One of the girls started having a go at him but he would not stop so I headbutted him quite hard, that seemed to do the trick because he let go and staggered backwards clutching his face.

His big friend suddenly appeared out of nowhere and apologised to me, the guy then started shouting at me but his big mate just told him to shut the fuck up and that he got what he deserved for being a drunken fool.

I was very angry and pissed off at what just happened so I went to the toilet and then went and sat outside the toilets thinking about going home or even going back and giving the guy another dig for being a cock.

Thankfully I saw Reiss who was about to go into the toilet and I told him I was thinking of going home as I was pissed off, although I did not tell him about the guy or the headbutt. I eventually stayed and went back with the others.

I ended up getting home at about 4am but not before stopping off at the chip shop for a portion of chips. :)

My Holiday Is Booked!

July 12, 2008 by Dean Saliba

Well it is official, this morning I paid the deposit for my accommodation so I will have somewhere to sleep when I go at the end of the month instead of the prospect of having to kip on the beach or a park bench in the town centre.

I then spent most of the morning trying to figure out how to order train tickets online. I was informed via LBC Radio that if you order them in advance then you can save some money. After a bit of tantrum-throwing and hunting around their web site I finally found out how to do it and purchased two single tickets (one there and one back) for a tenner each, saving about £6.00.

These have now been booked also and are currently winging their way to me as I type this up.

This sort of makes it official now doesn’t it? Now that I have booked the room and the tickets it means that this is very real and is going to happen. I have looked at booking a holiday before but as soon as I hit a snag I give up. I was meant to go away with Reiss once but I had problems with ordering my passport and basically gave up.

But not this time, look out people f Seaford & Alfriston: Dean’s coming to scare you!

I Think I’ve Found A B&B!

Today I made it my mission to get a hotel or a B&B so that I could get away for the weekend at the en of he month, even though I was looking forward to it I must admit that I was starting to have some doubts about whether I should just forget it and go on September 14th when Seaford Live! is on.

I contacted five more hotels and B&Bs and received rejections due to being fully booked that weekend and I was just about to admit defeat and start looking at September 14th when an email from Newhaven Lodge came into my email account.

I slowly opened the email and read with hope and low and behold they did indeed have a vacancy for that weekend!

After a couple of emails from both sides (well it was mainly me bombarding Jan with questions and her helpfully answering them) I agreed to make a deposit payment tomorrow morning thus booking my room for the weekend.

This means that there is no backing out now, I am forcing myself to go to a beautiful part of the country, drink some of the finest beers ever brewed in this country, eat some great food and see some fantastic sites.

What a drag!

Apparently I’m A Sexual Deviant!

Football training was very fun this week, although I am hating the journey there and back I am starting to look forward to the weekly training sessions because it is a lot of fun to do these days. I say that now but I have just found out that Coach and Jayson intend to put us through rigorous fitness sessions next week!

I am slowly starting to feel my confidence growing with the ball over these past couple of months, I am now looking for the ball and when I receive it I am holding it and looking for people in stead of panicing and hoofing it forward.

When I got home I was greeted with a lot of emails from the hotels & B&Bs that I have contacted about booking my weekend away at the end of the month, they were either booked full that weekend or did not allow single people to take rooms.

You don’t allow single people to book rooms? It is Seaford, did they think I was going away for a weekend of sex and general debauchery?!

I have decided to look to neighbouring Newhaven to see if I can find some accommodation there, I’ve been told the place is a shithole but then again it does have a ferry port to France so I might not have much luck here.

My friend Reiss did suggest a Travelodge but the nearest Travelodge is in Eastbourne which is about 12 miles away, perfect if I wanted to stay in Eastbourne but it might become expensive commuting from Eastbourne To Seaford numorous times a day.

I found out that their rival Premier Inns have a hotel in Newhaven but after being quoted at £68.00 a night (without food or use of any facilities) I decided it was just out of my price range. The only thing small about us is the bill my arse!

I did find one place that is on the road from Seaford to Newhaven so I could walk the five-ten minute journey easily, the rooms are cheap as well but I have this nagging feeling they will be fully booked as well.

Buying Pushchairs Online

July 9, 2008 by Dean Saliba

My two sisters have two children each (a boy and a girl each) and I can couch first hand just how quickly children (especially when they are a baby) can wear through things before the money you have handed over has even left the til.

Clothes are obviously top of the list, as the child grows they need replacing regularly, but the one other thing that they go though very quickly are prams. Every month it seemed like my sisters were purchasing new ones for the kids.

It is a good job that there are online stores around like babythings4u.co.uk who sell items like prams, high chairs, car seats, saftey gates, bouncers and other items, at very low prices so it does not leave a huge hole in your pocket each time you need to replace them.

They sell a huge wide selection of different types of pushchairs that means almost anyone will be able to find a pushchair that will suit their needs. Weather you want a normal one, a double one or even one that means you can go jogging they are all here and very cheap.

The prices are actually better than what most of us will find in our local high streets as well.

Millions of people all over the world suffer from sleeping problem, whether you suffer from insomnia, sleeping in the daytime, morning headaches, night time sweating, sleep walking, nightmares or snoring, there may be help for you and the 95% of people who suffer from these problems but go undiagnosed.

I happen to suffer from sleep walking (there is nothing as scarey as waking up outside your house with only your underwear on and not being able to get back in!) and I also have a poor sleeping pattern that often effects my football.

There is a sleep disorder center located in the state of Florida that employs doctors and scientists that specialise in researching the above mentioned problems and will be able to help you with advice on possible treatments that are available.

sleep study. for those of you who do not know, is where you go into the centre and you sleep while the doctors examine you and how you react when you are asleep so that they can then help you solve the problem.

If you are experiencing any sleep problem and you live in Florida sleep study might be the ideal first step to helping you solve the problem once and for all. So why not check out the site today at floridasleepdiagnostics.com.

My holiday is getting closer!

July 9, 2008 by Dean Saliba

I am actually really looking forward to it now, I said that I would not make any plans for what I will do when I get to Seaford (well apart from going to the music festival) and I would just see where things took me.

Well I have started making a few plans such as catching a football game and spending the evenings in the various pubs to sample the local ales. I’m even thinking about travelling into Newhaven to see their famous forte.

When I went to boarding school there at the weekends we would go and do an outside activity (walking in the forest, swimming, etc) and on the way back we would stop at a villiage shop in neighbouring Alfriston to buy some sweets form the big jars.

I am seriously thinking about going back there to see if the shop is still there so I can buy some of the sweets. The sweets were absolutely lovely and yeah I could buy them from Quarter Pound Of but I think the whole point is also visiting the shop again.

I’m aware how sad I am.

My brother brought his digital camera round so I will be able to take some pictures when I go at the end of the month. :)

Unlock Your Phone At Home

Do you remember a time when if you got your mobile phone locked then it was basically broken and you would need to toss it away and buy a new one? Then shops started offering to unlock your phone but would charge extortionate prices and sometimes they did not actually unlock your phone at all!

Thankfully those days have long gone and you can actually unlock your own phone at home thanks to sites like Buy.com. They sell products to help you with your Nokia unlocked phones.

Gold Makes A Lovely Present

July 8, 2008 by Dean Saliba

Everybody likes gold jewellery (well apart from those of us who are allergic to it), it makes a fantastic present for a family or loved one and looks good aorund your neck or on your wrist.

I was talking to my dad this evening about buying a gold chain for my two nieces as I was not invited to their recent christenings (actually none of my family were invited only their father’s side of the family were invited) and he thought it would be a good idea as he had also bought them gold chains from the internet.
