Have you ever become depressed or sad and you have absolutely no reason why it has happened? I was walking through Vicky Park this evening on my way to give Katrina some alcopops and suddenly I became really sad and had no idea why.
The weird thing was that I was thinking about what kind of activities I could do for my weekend away this coming weekend. It was one of those moments when you stop dead in your tracks and wonder out loud what the hell just happened.
Speaking of my little weekend away I now know what I intend to do for it.
Friday will consist of me travelling up to Newhaven in the afternoon and booking into my B&B room (I could not get a room in Seaford) before taking the ten minute bus trip to Seaford and having a gander around the shops and then heading to the pubs.
While I am in Seaford I intend to drink as many of the local ales in as many of the pubs as I can find.
Saturday morning I will be travelling to Hastings to watch the mighty Hastings Utd take on the just-as-mighty Lewes in a pre-season friendly at the Pilot Field. I wanted to see Seaford Town play but they are not playing on the weekend I am up.
If I get some time I’d like to head over to St Leonards-On-Sea to have a look about as I used to go to boarding school there and it would be nice to see the place that I used to try and escape from again.
Then in the evening I shall be once again be sampling the finest (and probably worst) local ales that Seaford has on offer.
Sunday I shall be catching a bus and heading over to Alfriston and having a look around the quaint little village. When at Bowden House we would stop off at Alfriston every other Saturday and Sunday afternoon and buy sweets from a local shop.
Then I shall be heading back to Seaford and spending a couple of hours in the afternoon in a pub or two before heading to Newhaven to pick up my bags and then catch a train home to London.
Obviously that is simply a penciled guide, things can change. Reiss has spoken about coming to spend the rest of the weekend with me as he gets back from Portugal at the weekend.

When it comes to playing games I like to believe that I have tried my hand at them all but I found a game that has so far managed to elude me. It is called Mahjong and I had never even heard of it before.
Mahjong can even be played online and Mahjong Time is probably one of the biggest online sites for the game, hundreds of thousands of people have signed up to the site to play the game against other people from all over the world.
If you play the game then you might be interested to know that there is a World Series of Mahjong competition where you can win a grand prize of $1,000,000. Mahjong Time offer small tournaments where the winners get the opportunity to qualify for the world tournament.
There is a video about it below.
Mahjong Time also offer information about other competitions going on and even a news page to help keep up updated with what is going on in the Mahjong playing community.

My sister is getting rid of her dog, her claim is that the dog is frightening the children but that is just not true. The real reason is because she has become bored of the dog and the novelty of owning her has worn off now she has to walk her numerous times a day. She can barely be bothered to look after her own children never mind a dog!
I went up to her house today to collect some money she owes my dad and she said I could have Tia’s old dog bed which she never used. I brought it home and Roxie is scared of it but I placed some treats under the blanket and she is no happily digging around looking for the treats.
As I type this she is now barking at me because there are no more treats in the bed, she is now throwing a strop and has probably gone to lie on my dad’s bed to sulk.
I had to take Roxie to the vet today for her second injection. Wayne had an interview to go to so they picked me up in the car but could not wait with me or drop me back so after the injection we had a nice long walk home from West Ham via Straford and Bow. I think I knackered her out.

“You can not lose weight by taking a pill.” That is a quote I’ve heard before but actually it is very possible to lose weight with the help of pills. There is a drug on the market called Phentermine that comes in the form of a pill and does exactly that.
What this pill does is it releases neuron bundles from your brain that supresses your appetite thus meaning that you will not feel the urge to eat as much as you do.
Obviously you need to exercise in combination with this pill.

I am always on the lookout for a pen in my house. No matter how many I buy at a shop I am always at a loss when I need to jot down a phone number, write out an envelope or another task that requires a pen.
I am sure that once a week someone comes into my house and steals all the pens and sells them down the market for a huge profit!
I think what I might have to do in the future is buy in bulk from now on, say once a month buy like 30 pens and that way I might find a pen when I need one!

Well it is finally official; my dad is getting a professional home help to look after him so that means I now have the envious task of having to find a job after being effectively unemployed for almost ten years.
I was basically his home help since I turned 18 but he is not happy with the fact that I have a life (I play non-league football and like to go out for the odd pint or two on a Saturday night) and that I tried to encourage him to undertake some small tasks himself to gain some independence.
I left school with more than a dozen exams but I found out shortly after leaving school that the exams I took were not recognized by anybody, the school I attended had bought them because they were cheaper than GCSE ones.
Apart from a job as a school cleaner that I was sacked from after three months for being a lazy 17 year old, and the odd week here and there doing road sweeping, I have done pretty much nothing but look after my dad.
I have tried looking into gaining employment in three areas:
1. School cleaning. They are very strict on whom they employ now and my criminal record for being drunk rules me out.
2. Road sweeping. I actually went for an interview a couple of months ago and was told that I am not qualified enough to basically sweep up dog poo!
3. Home help. I went to four agencies and they all told me the same thing, your experience looking after your dad is nothing; we want certificates, training courses, etc.
Oh well it should be fun next week when I go to the Jobcentre to transfer from Income Support & ICA to JSA. How will they treat me knowing I have not got a hells chance of finding employment with my lack of experience?

When I go on my holiday to Seaford next weekend I am tempted to jump on a train and go to Plumpton and watch some horse racing if there is any on that weekend. I used to do that sometimes when I went to boarding schools in St Leonards On Sea and Seaford.
I first got into horse racing when I was about 11 but it was not until I was about 18 that I actually started placing bets and taking a more in depth interest in form and such.
Pretty soon the Melbourne cup will be racing towards us (please excuse the poor pun), this is Australia’s major annual thoroughbred horse race (according to Wikipedia) and one of the important races in the racing season. I am sorely tempted to have a Bet on Melbourne Cup this year.
If you are thinking of doing the same thing then you might want to check out a site called racingreport.com.au who are offering great Melbourne Cup Odds this year. The web site also includes news on the racing industry so you will never be kept out of the loop on important news.
If you are watching the Melbourne Cup Betting on the event might make it a lot more fun to watch.

Can someone please explain something to me?
I my dog somtimes goes to the toilet on a balcony that is connecting to the front room, if you go out of the front room there is a long hall and at the end is my bedroom and my dad’s bedroom.
My dad’s bedroom smells of piss, shit and body odour and has crumbs all over the place. My room is immaculate with nice smelling odur eater sprays used frequently and is hoovered twice a day (I have to as I have psoriasis).
Guess which room gets all the fucking flies!
And I’m not talking about those little ones, I’m talking about those great big fat fuckers! You know the ones I mean? The ones you wonder how the hell their wings keep them flying they are so fat!
I was woken up this morning at about 8am by the familiar buzzing noises of a fly, Why is it that I have a big room yet the bastards always want to try and land on my, and if I put the duvet over my head it makes them wantt to land even more?!

I remember when I was about ten and I had to live with my dad for a period of time, one of things I enioyed was the fact that he had not one but two Gas Fires. I’m not sure why but even at a young age I would enjoy lying on the rug in front of the living room fire and reading or watching TV as the fire cracked and hissed in the background.
Sadly it was not long before Tower Hamlets council removed all these fires and replaced them with central heating. But you can still actually have them installed if you want them.
Actually having gas or Electric Fires installed is becoming a rather common and stylish thing to have, much like the coal and wood fires that were popular about five years ago.
If you ever feel that you would like one of these fires then one place to check out is hotprice.co.uk. They offer a very big selection of gas and electric fires, they also stock marble fireplaces which look really cool.
You can also buy accessories that go in hand with your chosen fire. The prices are very cheap as well, in fact you will be hard pushed to find a cheaper deal.
