Life Insurance For Children?

When my sisters had their children my mum opened bank accounts for them and was going to put away a little bit of money so when they are 16 or 18 they will have some money to start their adult life.

She has tried this before and sadly it fizzles out, if she really wanted to secure their futures then she could have opened up some child life insurance policies for each of the four children.

Paying $1 a month will results in a $20,000 life insurance policy for a child, this is far better than putting away the odd buck here and there.
