It is the beginning of another month here at Dean Saliba Dot Com and this means that it is that time again for the now regular monthly blog income report to let you guys and girls know exactly how much I earned during the month of February.

I started this as a little side project in November 2007 to determine if it was at all possible to earn proper money on the internet as many other people have claimed to have done before me.

My first month I managed to earn a total of $4.67 and I am happy to say that I have seen my monthly total rise higher than that ever since.

February is not my favourite month when it comes to earning money online as it is normally two days shorter than the some months and three days shorter compared to the rest. Although this year it is a leap year I was still expecting a dip in my total.

Dropping Poor Avenues

Last month I finally dumped Bidvertiser and Clicksor due to them performing incredibly low on my blog (Bidvertiser was up since November and did not bring in a single cent). You can now add Shopping Ads (otherwise known as Auction Ads) to this list, despite having them on the blog for around the same time as Bidvertiser they have aso brought in not a single cent.

Page Impressions & Visitor Count

This month there was a problem with getting the plugin that I use to calculate the stats for the blog so I will not be able to produce any charts and graphs for the month of February, I can only apologise and promise that it will fixed for next month.

Page Views:

Page impressions for this month were down, as I fully expected, due to a combination of shorter days and some rare downtime with the hosting company that sponsors this blog.

This month saw a drop in page impressions, this month the total stands at 12,612 which is 4,308 down from last month.

Unique Hits:

Page impressions were not the only thing that fell this month, sadly the amount of unique visitors dropped from January’s total of 10,418 to 7,690 which is a decrease of 2,728 unique visitors.

Number Crunching

The total for February is down from what I achieved in January and to be honest I was fully expecting this due to the lack of days and the ultra-rare downtime from the hosting provider.

The top five search terms that led visitors to the blog in the month of February were:

To be honest I am getting a bit worried about the type of things that people are typing into search engines and finding my blog, this month the top search term was public wetting!
