The Intrepid Fox & Wanker Bouncers

Sunday, May 27th, 2007 | Dean Saliba Dot Com with No Comments »

Yesterday I went to The Ben Crouch with Reiss, apparently he had tried to round up a group of people but I was the only one with no life so it was just the two of us.

On the way there Adrian phoned Reiss up and told him that he had put a word in for me with his manager and something about me going in to speak to him sometime. I was not expecting anything to come of it but I’m glad that he did have a word.

I tried to put a CV together but Wayne did my head in and eventually I could not be bothered fucking around so I’ll leave it. I doubt I would have got the job anyway, who the hell would want to hire me! :P

We got a bit bored in there and ended up going to The New Intrepid Fox. I had only been there once before and I was very tired so could not enjoy the place, but this time I was refreshed and I actually enjoyed it, apart from the bouncer who pushed me out of his way twice - the rude little cunt!

One of the barmaids asked me if I wanted to buy her a drink, I was trying to see what she would do for it but sadly all she would do was hurl herself to the ground pretending to be dehydrated. :(

When I got home I found that I had no paracetamol so I just drank my normal four glasses of water and went to bed, and suffered no hangover. the next morning, so that was a great result.

Quinn’s On A Friday Night

Saturday, May 26th, 2007 | Dean Saliba Dot Com with No Comments »

I went to Quinns, a pub on the edge of Camden Town, tonight. It was an OK night I met up with Reiss and Adrian, who I had not seen for a while. Reiss’ ex came down with some mates. One of them was grilling me asking me why I liked wrestling, I could not be bothered with the whole debate yet again so I just shrugged and carried on drinking my pint.

Adrian said that he would put a word in for me at the paint shop where he works. That was nice of him. :)

That was about it, Reiss and Adrian were fucking about while we were waiting for the bus and then Reiss and I did very poor impressions of the Scottish drug rehab guy from Little Britain as we walked home.

Gig At The Lion’s Den

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007 | Dean Saliba Dot Com with No Comments »

Yesterday I went over the park to do some freekick training. I was doing some on Saturday and I realised that my kicks have really started to get crap.

Whilst over there four girls came over and sat down behind the goal. I was taking a freekick and then taking another from where the ball landed behind the goal. But when these girls sat down they kept running after the ball and kicking it back to me, this meant I was taking less freekicks.

After about five minutes they challenged me to a game of four on one, I was a tad miffed to learn that they meant football…

It was cool, one of them realised the time and they said goodbye and started racing across the park to get back to college.

About ten minutes later and three Algerian boys appeared out of nowhere and asked me if I fancied a game of 2-on-2. This time I was glad they meant football…

I played with them for about an hour until we were all about to subcome to the blazing heat. I decided to jog home to help get me fit. I took my shirt off the whole time to get the sun on my arms.

I went along to Alfie’s gig at The Lion in Church St. The barmaid in there is a bit of alright, I can now understand why Alfie & Reiss have been competing over her.

Reiss told me that his mum was coming along. I kept a safe distance from her for most of the night and positioned myself so that Reiss was between us, if she wanted to stab me up she would have to cut up her boy while I leg it out the door! ~JUSTICE~!

Reiss told me it kicked off at 7:30pm so I strolled in at about 7:40pm and no bugger was there, Alfie was still setting up the equipment as I arrived. reiss did not arrive til about 8pm!

It was cool though, although hardly anybody turned up due to a cock-up with the flyers. His support act Howard Fergus has been around for ages, makes me wonder why none of his fans turned up…

Saturday’s Alright (For Falling Asleep In A Pub)

Sunday, May 20th, 2007 | Dean Saliba Dot Com with No Comments »

Saturday night I went to The Ben Crouch pub (formerly known as The Gothic Pub) with Reiss and met up with Alfie, Will, Jenna & Lee. Someone that Reiss knew was having a little birthday party in there, I felt really out of place but was OK watching the Sky Sport News channel on the television.

Jenna was applying some make-up to her lips to make them swell up, I made a joke about punching her in the face as this would make them swell up faster and it would save money on the make-up. Although Will laughed, and also some guy behind us, Jenna did not find it at all funny and probably thought I go around punching women in their faces. lol

There was a guy standing in front of me who just said “Move!” He wanted to sit down but did not want to walk around the back of me, where there was a whole row of chairs, I told him this was my seat and to find his own seat. I had to move my chair so he could go around the back and sit down, another example of me causing trouble I see. :)

We moved on to a pub that Reiss has been banging on about in his Blog called The New Intrepid Fox. I had to stop off at McDonalds as I had not eaten all day and was bloody hungry. I had never been in there before and I found it quite cool, especially the music they were playing, but I was almost dead on my feet due to a mega-long training session earlier in the day and ended up leaving without finishing my pint!

Reiss was knackered as well and did not need to be persuaded to accompany me on the journey home. I stopped off at a chip shop and got some chips as I did not see like cooking when I got home.

I certainly liked The New Intrepid Fox and would like to go back there when I’m not falling asleep on my feet.

Rest Of The World Is Not Good Enough!

Thursday, May 17th, 2007 | Dean Saliba Dot Com with No Comments »

I find it amusing how websites like WWE.com and VHI.com only allow American visitors to listen and watch thier audio & video footage online.

“I’m sorry you are not in the right country to use this service.” HA!
