Prior to American band Soular’s much anticpiated 9-date UK tour, and after travelling for nearly 24 hours, guitarist Brian Lee was denied entry into the UK on October 20th forcing the band to cancel their tour before it had even begun.
Immigration officials at Heathrow Airport would not let Lee into the country due to the fact that he did not have his return ticket to the US with him.
His return ticket was with lead singer Marsh Shamburger, who Immigration officials had already accepted into the UK, and refused to allow Shamburger to come back through and hand over Lee’s returning ticket.
Because Lee did not have this return ticket on him the officials came to the conclusion that he intended to illegally seek work in the country.
